LA county SON Spring 2015

I know this is little early but I will be applying in July for Spring 2015... I'm finishing up Micro this semester and will have 86 points! Anyone else lurking that's going to apply to?? Say hi :)

I noticed that they put up the info sessions today starting on November 18th... I'm guessing that they won't start these until after acceptance letters for fall semester have went out already because I'm pretty sure that keeps them way super busy alreasy

Oh ok!!! May I ask when you received your invitation to the TEAS exam from LA county? I'm waiting to get one... I have not scheduled an exam for the test yet because I'm waiting to take it at this campus

You should probably contact them.... Are you applying to the regular program starting in January or the lvn-RN program. My friend received an invite and the last day was around October 4th..

That's odd-I did contact them regarding scheduling and they said that the beginning of November I should expect an invite also the acceptance/denial letter. Thank you for responding! One more question, how do you know when the exam dates are? Is there a link I could go to to view this

I think there were only 2 dates, both scheduled in the beginning of October. I know that they do paper/pencil and it could take up to a couple weeks to receive the results and that'd be cutting it close in terms of figuring out everyone's pts as well as sending out the letters. There isn't any place (that I know of) on their site where it displays the dates.... My friend received a letter at the beginning September regarding the dates.

I was in the last group to take the teas for the spring term on oct. 4th at county and I received my results on oct 8th, so I think they have all the results sorted. Hopefully they will send out letters near the beginning of nov.

I have 80! So Im very nervous about the cutoff! They don't send out letters until December, is that correct?

that should be good enough to get you in. I applied for Fall 2014 and got in with like 79-80 points. I just deferred my seat to Spring.

Hi everyone. I took the TEAS on campus last Saturday and they told us that notifications should be out by mid November. She also said that they are accepting 50 students for Spring, which seems kinda low.. :(
