LA County Nursing Applicants for Spring 2017-Generic Option

Hello. Well I see that no one has posted anything for Spring 2017 applicants and I know that I'm feeling a little nervous here so I'd like to know if there's anyone out there on the same boat that I am.

Is LAC gonna email or mail the results? I already got two rejections from other schoolsrecently :grumpy: I hope I will hear something good soon :(

The website says mail but past yrs it looks like email... vivianliu keep ur head up and stay positive

I'm trying to apply for Fall but might not be able to get into a Lifespan Psychology class. That is the only prereq left. Will I still be considered? Or will my application be flat our rejected?

If I were you I would go to another school do whatever you can to get that class @imtootired

Add up your points based on what you have if you have mostly A's you Get the most points Points, assuming you pass the TEAS you get 20 points as long as you pass it. If you can get up to 78 point or above with out the psychology class, apply , but if those points are keeping you short of 78 at least, take the class , pass it and apply.

I'm actually within range for the previous cohorts without the lifespan psych class so I'll apply. Thanks for the advice!

So we're still expecting to hear in December huh?

That's what the office said but when I took my teas I was told end of November and previous cohorts were told December but found out 2nd week of November

I also called and she said you'll receive the answer by the first week of December. In the mean time what is everyone's points, we can get a rough estimate of what we all are applying with
