KY nursing license by endorsement. How long?

I am an RN with a license in IN and IL. Does anyone know how long it takes to get your KY license once you have submitted your information and paid the $150 fee.

I am looking for work and I may need to go to Henderson or Paducah.

Thanks,

~Sherri

Hi sherri I am also applying to KY. You need to ask them for a fingerprint card and send it back to them. As soon as they get that card back, you will be issued your temporary license to practice. Its only $20 more but much less stress. To get the real license, it could take some time. It depends on when they get all your paperwork.

7 days, just make sure you request the fingerprint card first. They sent the card out the same day I requested it.

When we moved from TN to KY, I requested my fingerprint card and sent it in with my endorsement application. Within 1 week I got an email from the KBON telling me my temporary license was issued and 2 weeks after that I got my permanent license.
