Hi!
I recently got a conditional letter of acceptance for the Kwantlen Nursing program. I was wondering if anyone else applied and got conditional acceptances here. Also, if anyone has experience with the program, please feel free to comment here too!
I didn't get a seat for the kpu-pb program. I asked for a new cohort at douglas psych nursing since the girls were being harsh bullies. I applied for kpu-pb and was accepted in spite of having a degree 13 years ago. I turned them down cause I miss calculated my education cost 78k I got. I returned to douglas. big mistake everyone said they would screw me after making a complaint. sure enough right on the same day I was kicked out for not having teacher sign my mar before I gave routine meds(serequel, loxapine etc).I think the teacher didn't like me asking to do meds and procedures. I applied for kpu-pb and they turned me down saying my degree is past the 6 year requirement
basically I turned down kwantlen twice to go to douglas college big mistake
now the only school that would accept me is vcc for the lpn program.
so basically I will do lpn 18 months and then maybe ubc or a lpn-rn program
but if I was younger I would just do radiology tech.
I found out recently that I was accepted at Douglas for the 1+3 structure last year when they changed there program. So I just need to do the four biology courses and I am done year one.
Disappointed I didn't get into Kwantlen, but at least I know there is somewhere I can study to become a Rn.
The only thing I am worried about is how hard the program is, it has 5 courses every term. Is anyone in the program, is it manageable?
Thanks for any info.

I've done the Care Aide program at Kwantlen and graduated with Honors,
And my four required courses (Bio 12, English 12, Math 11 and Chem 11) came
out to be 92% GPA, but I don't think I was accepted into the program :/
