Kwantlen Nursing Sept 2013

World Canada CA Programs

Published

Hi!

I recently got a conditional letter of acceptance for the Kwantlen Nursing program. I was wondering if anyone else applied and got conditional acceptances here. Also, if anyone has experience with the program, please feel free to comment here too!

My status on my kwantlen account, the part of my admissions application got changed to not admissible, no seats available. I emailed the assistant and she also told me they will sending out letters in early May, I guess my rejection letter.

That is too bad, but you never know!

What GPA did you apply with?

3.44 GPA, did you apply if so what was your GPA?

I applied with a 92% GPA, whatever that equals out to.

university or highschool? Did you hear if you got in yet?

Both? I did the Care Aide program at Kwantlen, but applying for an aboriginal seat offered

hey if you dont mind my asking,

was your 3.44 GPA from high school or university?

University. Did you apply if so with what GPA and was it from university?

I haven't applied yet. I am looking into applying and I just finished my first year of university.

I haven't finished my exams yet so still don't have a GPA for all my courses, though it came out to be 3.33 in first semester.

Will you be applying again for January?

Also, do you have any information on what GPA they usually accept for university? 3.44 is pretty high I'm surprised you didn't get in.

Yes, I am going to apply again. I heard from the educational adviser the GPA's that are needed are between 3.45-3.50 depending on the pool of applicants. I thought I had a chance of getting in since it was just one point below. I guess everyone was really competitive.

Yeah that could be it.

What subjects have you taken in university?

I've taken many, mostly business because I studied to be an accountant, but after many years I got bored. I've also recently taken psychology, biology, English, and health ethics. I'm working on anatomy next, and another english elective. I'm trying to get done as many as I can so when I get in a program it will make it easier.
