I have to buy this same book, found it on half.com for 85 and was ready to buy when I looked at my book list again and realized the bundle from the school comes w/ cd, a study guide and a handbook. All that (brand new) is $124 at my school. I didn't think that was too bad.
Normally I buy all my books from half.com and save money but this year the difference between what the school has for brand new and what I can get online used plus shipping is less than five dollars. So I bought all my books from the school, plus the blasted ATI Nclex study package for $459! Could have bought it used as well but I didn't know that there's testing via built into that price. Our school tests us along the way on the Nclex, probably one of the biggest reasons our Nclex pass rate is 95%. :)
My campus bookstore doesn't even have it in yet, and classes start in 8 days. I'd buy it online, but I want to get the value pack in case there is anything good in it.
At least I know that we're all in the same boat. Hard to blame me for not having the book if the bookstore doesn't even have it.

I bought mine on Amazon because it mentioned MyNursingLab or something of the sort in it's title. My book list said we need the program and access bundled with the text. So now I have my book and it has a CD ROM in the back but I have yet to see an access code. Does anyone else have this book or is anyone else required to have the same thing? Any thoughts?
Sorry to post on such a boring topic
I hate getting the shaft when I do it to myself, ya know? Watch, I'm going to have to buy a 50$ program like when I jumped the gun in Nutrition and Statistics....gosh how I hate the school bookstore. They really are devious.
