  1. I bought a pair of used Danksos clog type on ebay for $6. Figured I'd try them out before I invest in a brand new pair. I have had plantar fasciitis in the past and am looking for a shoe to prevent it from flaring up again.
  2. I would like a copy as well, thank you!
  3. my clinical attire regulations state: white regulation nursing shoes are to be worn with a closed toe and heel. no sandals, clogs, patent leather or canvas shoes are permitted. ok i was hoping i could wear a new pair of all white nb sneakers as they are the only ones that don't make my plantar fasciitis flare up because i can get a wide width. what do you recommend? i need something that gives the support my heels need but aren't ugly either. thanks in advance!
  4. Surely you returned the favor for the bracelet your preceptor got you? I plan on giving those people a gift or something when they do fine by me, that's the very least I can do for someone helping me secure my future.
  5. I'll be watching this thread intently too. I just rec'd the chrome military watch with leather band from Jasco and the face of this watch is HUGE! I'll be returning this one.
  6. I just ordered the lightweight from jasco.com What didn't you like about it? I got a cute lilac color too
  7. I went through the same thing w/ all the blood work. My shot records weren't to be found and with many phone calls and questions, I found out I could get the bulk of my shots at the dept. of Health in my area and the titers I needed were covered in my insurance due to it being for the medical field. With shots being $97 a piece (OMG) and my health insurance only covering the Hep B shots, the Dept. of Health was more than happy to help. They go on the honor system, they don't ask for pay stubs, they just want the public to get their immunizations. Give it a shot (no pun intended) and call them up, they will most likely be more than happy to answer your questions and schedule an appointment. Good luck!
  8. According to my clearances I printed out, the Act 34 is the PA Child Abuse History clearance. All from the PSP website.
  9. Why didn't you go to the Pennsylvania State Police website, they have the PATCH criminal clearances there you can use. I just got my 33 and 34 for $10 each and was able to get the clearance via the Internet and print out my No Record Certificate. Took a matter of minutes.
  10. i have three cousins that graduated out of the mount. they are all successful nurses and the mount turns out very good nurses. however, i would be remiss to not mention the story of my mom's best friend who spent a year and a half at the mount in the rn program there. when it come time to transfer her credits to another school (she had to transfer due to family concerns) the mount conveniently lost any record of her having been there for the year and a half. she had to take everything over again. the mount is a very reputable nursing school in my area but not very trustworthy when it comes to your academic history there. good luck.
