Wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with the Kings County pharmacology exam, I need to take it and I have not a clue what is on it. Is it mainly math related which I hope, how many questions is on it, how hard should one prepare for it and any suggestions on how to prepare for it. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you.
re: kings county hospital pharmacologyi have not started. i too was told i would be contacted by hr. but my friend was called yesterday so it should happen soon. good luck.
oh, now this gets me nervous. thank you biladiabla. did your friend also got her job on the spot during the interview? thanks.
Ok. Apparently I cannot reply to private message either. If you google "nursing pharmacology test questions", on the first page of the search, one of the links will have questions that will help you. Again, this is only for one of the exams so don't rely on just that because you may get the other. But these questions will help you out more than you expect (hint).
I very appreciate your post, it is so helpful. May I ask you to specify please, I goggled and there are 10 links with many sub links as well on the first page. Which of those ten on the first Google search page I should search for, or may be a name of a website will help. Thank you.
Although this forum is over a year old, I'm scheduled to take this pharmacology exam at kings county. Pharmacology is just so broad, don't know where to begin without reading through an entire book. bear1234 you suggesting a link that I cannot find by typing "nursing pharmacology exam" in the search box. Anyone with any new suggestions or hints, I'd much appreciate it. I need a job!! But I need to pass this exam first. Thanks in advance for any help.

re: kings county hospital pharmacologyi interviewed a few weeks ago and was offered a position on the spot. i think i was offered the position because even though i am a new grad, i am studying to be a pscyh np. i heard they were hiring from a friend and was put in touch with the woman hiring directly. the woman interviewing me told me they were almost done hiring, so i was surprised to hear they had an open house. sorry to be discouraging, but that's just what she told me.
good luck anyway.
also, about the exam, i also noticed that there were two different exams. i think i go the same exam as dannybear, but there is another one too.
hey biladiabla, i got an interview too a few weeks ago but they told me to wait for 5 weeks for a hr to call me which i don't know what would be next. i was wondering if you have started your rotation yet on the floor?
