Wondering if anyone out there has applied for KSU's BSN program to start spring '10. I applied and am still anxiously waiting to see if I get an interview. Let me know if you've heard anything! :bugeyes:

Since KSU is closed tomorrow, does that mean we have to wait even longer for the letters!?? Gggrrrr! :(

It didn't offend me at all! I was feeling the EXACT same way!!! I mean, It's not our fault the weather sucks in GA. But thanks for the kind words. I hope everyone is doing okay. I have friends and family close to Austell and haven't heard anything. I went to Harrison High school and I used to run on Burnt Hickory (which is now flooded) its so crazy that this happened. It was only a few years ago when everyone from Louisiana was here, trying to get away from the flooding from Katrina. But I too, hope everyone is okay and safe.....But I also wish they would just send out the DAMN letters already!!!

No offense taken. I agree the weather sucks, but as I was told when I interviewed., "Don't worry about the letter, it will come. Think of yourself as already in the program." So that's what I am doing. It could be worse, it could take as long as the notification letters for the interview did!

I just wanted to know before Friday because if I got accepted to KSU, I wouldn't have to take to NET for Gastate this Friday. Oh well....

If we all pray and stand in agreement that we are getting in, and the letters are going to come this week. then they will..so Please everyone PRAY!! I pray we all get in! hey, there's 65 slots for traditional, why not have our names on them! ;)

I deferred from the fall accelerated program (2009) till the spring accelerated program (2010) because I am having a baby any day now and thought it would be really hard to have a newborn and be in school. Fran just emailed me and told me that they are behind on their contract letters but they will be going out today and tomorrow so I should have mine my this weekend. I just wanted everyone to know becasue I remember playing the waiting game and wondering if I got in or not. Good luck to everyone!

Can't wait to meet everyone in the spring accelerated program!!

Kelbel, thank you so much for going out of your way to let us know! Congratulations your baby! Will he/she be your first?

I recently read a thread (from allnurses.com) this woman in nursing school wrote to her son. The thread is called Thank you Son, and basically she thanks him for being there for her with his love and kisses and waking up at 430am to get dropped off at the babysitters so she could go to clinicals, and it truly is a beautiful letter, you should definitely read since you have One on the way! Just search Thank you Son on the this website and you should find it.

oh and congrats. on the baby..When are you due? is it a girl/boy..I have a 2 yr. old Daughter..and I love every minute of her (well, except the temper tantrums..haha) but Thanks for taking the time to let us know..I still feel like im gonna puke tho. lol
