Just trying to find other KSU students/transfer students that applied to the Spring 2022 nursing program.

I'm sorry you didn't get in. I don't know what you did to study for it last time, but I highly recommend buying the study material through the ATI TEAS website. While it did cost $200 I believe it set me up for success. I've been out of high school for 17 years now (2004 graduate) and it had been a few years since I took my Biology A&P classes so I felt I really needed a refresher. I tested only once and got a 85.3% with math and science being the areas I scored the highest in. Wishing you the best of luck!

Not until this semester. I took 3 over the Summer (6 hours worth) and this semester I have 8 hours I'm working on. I wished I could've updated the transcript at the end of Summer because I took my last science and lab, microbio, and communications with As across the board. In December I'll graduate with an associate of science in health professions.

That’s most likely why. I didn’t get into nursing school for fall 2021 semester because I still had Chem 1152 lecture and lab outstanding. My GPA is a 3.46 and 79 on my TEAS. Completing those pre reqs is KEY! Don’t give up hope please ?

That's what you got in with? That makes me feel a lot better! Just sucks the way they do that because they basically force you to take a semester off then because you can't be done with all classes before the application to continue your education the next semester... Grown people with jobs and mortgages don't have time for the games! ugh... Applying again in fall but also applying to a few others.

I mean I’ve never failed a class or had a C in classes. So that makes a difference as well. And yeah the TEAS are the last thing they look at my advisor told me. And yes apply for other schools as well. Getting into nursing school isn’t as difficult as others make it seem you just have to try not to get C’s in classes ?

Me too but I won’t give up. I will definitely keep trying. I did purchase the ATI review and still didn’t do as well as I wanted to after studying for 4 weeks. Standardized test are just not my strong point. I feel they don’t determine the kind of student you have and if they will be successful. I have a great GPA but I know that’s not all they go by. So, I will keep pushing until I reach the score I need. Thanks again and good luck to you in nursing school. ?I will be there soon!
