Just trying to find other KSU students/transfer students that applied to the Spring 2022 nursing program.
Hey y'all,
I submitted my application for the traditional and accelerated programs a while back for the Spring 2022 start date! I have a 3.53 GPA (not sure if KSU will adjust my GPA though since I graduated from a different university that did the plus/minus system) and I got a 90% on my TEAS. I finished my last remaining pre-reqs, micro and micro lab, in the Spring, but KSU never updated it in degree works so I am not sure if they know I finished taking it or not... Anyway, hope everyone is staying sane waiting till September to hear back LOL and good luck :)
13 minutes ago, daniRNwannabe said:@taurisc they unfortunately do not do rolling admissions. The deadline for the Spring 2022 cycle was June 27th if I am remembering correctly, and they told me that we wouldn't hear back until sometime in September when they have made decisions.
Geez Louise what a long time! Thanks for the info!
Hey! KSU nursing student here. I know how stressful it can be finishing up your prereqs, taking the TEAS, and applying to nursing school. I remember nervously hounding this site, comparing my stats to the stats of other students who were previously accepted to the program to see if I measured up. I just want to remind you, everything will be okay! You’ve worked so hard to get where you are so don’t give up! I’m sure all of you will make incredible future nurses!
All the best,
N.
P.S. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have! :)
@amm3 I believe my cohort received acceptance emails around the 20th of the month. It was unusually late. We were initially told that we would be getting emails during the first week of the month. Then it became two, then three weeks ? Hopefully you won’t have to wait as long! The waiting game is hard, but hang in there!

I am still going to apply. I just don’t think my score is competitive enough. We will see! In the meantime I am studying to retake the test.
