Kennesaw State University Spring 2022

Published

Just trying to find other KSU students/transfer students that applied to the Spring 2022 nursing program.

I am still going to apply. I just don’t think my score is competitive enough. We will see! In the meantime I am studying to retake the test.

@ManiRN2B- Best of luck to you!

Hey everyone,
I’ve just submitted my application for Spring 2022 traditional program! Here are my stats:

GPA: 3.90

TEAS: 86%
I still have to take my last prereq, Ochem and Ochem lab, this fall. Good luck to everyone! ?

Hey y'all,

I submitted my application for the traditional and accelerated programs a while back for the Spring 2022 start date! I have a 3.53 GPA (not sure if KSU will adjust my GPA though since I graduated from a different university that did the plus/minus system) and I got a 90% on my TEAS. I finished my last remaining pre-reqs, micro and micro lab, in the Spring, but KSU never updated it in degree works so I am not sure if they know I finished taking it or not... Anyway, hope everyone is staying sane waiting till September to hear back LOL and good luck :)

I applied for the Fall 2022 cycle, but does anyone know if they have rolling admissions? My confirmation email said they wouldn't review the application until after the deadline, but that's in 2022. Did any of you hear back before the application deadline?

@taurisc  they unfortunately do not do rolling admissions. The deadline for the Spring 2022 cycle was June 27th if I am remembering correctly, and they told me that we wouldn't hear back until sometime in September when they have made decisions.

Geez Louise what a long time! Thanks for the info!

Hey! KSU nursing student here. I know how stressful it can be finishing up your prereqs, taking the TEAS, and applying to nursing school. I remember nervously hounding this site, comparing my stats to the stats of other students who were previously accepted to the program to see if I measured up. I just want to remind you, everything will be okay! You’ve worked so hard to get where you are so don’t give up! I’m sure all of you will make incredible future nurses!

All the best,

N.

P.S. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have! :)

@Nm_23 how far into the month did you get your acceptance decision, if you remember? September is coming soon but I’m not sure how far into September we’ll have to wait ?

@amm3 I believe my cohort received acceptance emails around the 20th of the month. It was unusually late. We were initially told that we would be getting emails during the first week of the month. Then it became two, then three weeks ? Hopefully you won’t have to wait as long! The waiting game is hard, but hang in there!

It's finally September! I have to admit that I've been checking my email multiple times. This wait is driving me crazy! I just want to know already! However everyone else doing?

Me too! I’ve been checking too! Hopefully we will hear something soon. I’m not too confident in being accepted though because of my TEAS score. We will see. Just hoping for the best! ??
