  1. The schedule is pretty much the same for everyone. There may be some variation in the days when you register but there aren't many options.
  2. Congrats to everyone who got in! You're about to embark on a challenging journey that is sooo worth it! One piece of advice is STOP WORRYING ABOUT GETTING ALL A's! You're in the program now! There's no need to be competitive anymore. This was a difficult concept for me and many of my classmates to grasp during first semester and even now sometimes. For mental health's sake, the faster you accept that getting B's (or C's above a 75%) is okay, the better you'll be mentally (trust me LOL). I'm not saying that you should stop striving for A's, they are totally doable and good to get, but stop focusing on getting ONLY A's. I personally know it's a hard mentality to get out of. Enjoy every step of the journey! To those that didn't get in, I'm sorry. I can imagine how hard it must be to work hard and not get the results you want. But keep trying! Don't let this discourage you! I know a few people that didn't get in their first (or second) try, but they kept trying and got in the next time! If you truly want to be a nurse, you'll become a nurse one way or the other ? All the best!
  3. @fashionista1299 Hi! Yes, clinical does start during first semester. You’ll go to skills lab for the first few weeks of the semester to learn some skills and then start clinical once you pass skills competencies/check offs. Hope this info helps!
  4. @amm3 I believe my cohort received acceptance emails around the 20th of the month. It was unusually late. We were initially told that we would be getting emails during the first week of the month. Then it became two, then three weeks ? Hopefully you won’t have to wait as long! The waiting game is hard, but hang in there!
  5. Hey! KSU nursing student here. I know how stressful it can be finishing up your prereqs, taking the TEAS, and applying to nursing school. I remember nervously hounding this site, comparing my stats to the stats of other students who were previously accepted to the program to see if I measured up. I just want to remind you, everything will be okay! You’ve worked so hard to get where you are so don’t give up! I’m sure all of you will make incredible future nurses! All the best, N. P.S. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have! :)
