Kennesaw State University Spring 2021

Hi all!
I didn’t see if a thread was already made for this topic, but I actually had a question. I’m actually waiting for my ap scores to be submitted because they were archived, but I cannot get in touch with nursing admissions at all ?. Is there anyone who has submitted, or is thinking about submitting, their application while completing 2 courses? Also I’m just curious about anyone applying for the ABSN program ?.

Hello y’all

I am so happy, I just got my acceptance to the traditional BSN today, see you in Spring 2021! And good luck to you all!
please can someone  post the link of the facebook group?

Yay! Congrats I am in finally ?

I GOT IN! I'm so excited!!!! Congrats everyone!

Wahoo!  BSN...here I come!

Congrats to all those joining me and keep up the good fight to all those that are still trying.  You will get there!

Had a 3.67 GPA after getting my BS. TEAS of 87.9, and I didn't get accepted to KSU '21 accelerated track. Best of luck to all who did. I wish you the absolute best.

I just got accepted to the traditional BSN track as well! I am SO excited for this next chapter of all our lives and I especially can't wait to meet all of you!! Do you guys think we will still be online for next semester or does anyone have any sort of idea what classes may be like due to covid?

I've been looking at the class sections on owl express and it looks like Holistic nursing is hybrid, patho is online, health assessment is hybrid, and evidence practice has sections for online and in person. Hope this helps and congrats!

Were all your courses complete? Because your stats sounds good honestly

Hey everyone. I wasn’t checking my email yesterday so I didn’t get to update y’all. I got accepted into the Spring 2021 Traditional BSN track! I can’t wait to see and meet y’all!

These were my stats:

3.45 GPA

3.2 Science GPA

and a one and only TEAS Attempt of 84.7

On a very important side note: Although I completed every single prerequisite, scored pretty well on my TEAS, and had been at KSU for the past five years, with a nice come back in my science courses (I received a C at both AP1 Lecture attempts, and a C in O-Chem lecture, but later earned an A in AP2 lab/lecture and a B in micro lecture with an A in lab), I was denied my first time applying to the WellStar school of nursing. I was blessed to have been accepted to Mercer’s Georgia Baptist but was holding out for financial reasons. Nothing changed from my first attempt to my last (as far as classes/scores go for KSU’s nursing program requirements).

All of this to say: Don’t give up on yourself. Getting into nursing school is hard, but not impossible. Try out other options and see if a different school is also possible. And Goodluck!

You are so right... I was told not to apply to KSU because it’s only 3.8 and above.

Whoever lied to you should feel ashamed of themselves. It’s hard and there doesn’t seem to be a rhyme or reason, but I’ve seen people with extremely high stats get denied at KSU and accepted at Emory, Georgia State, and other schools, while others with lower stats than myself, get in first try.

Hello! I got accepted !
