Kennesaw State University Spring 2021

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi all!
I didn’t see if a thread was already made for this topic, but I actually had a question. I’m actually waiting for my ap scores to be submitted because they were archived, but I cannot get in touch with nursing admissions at all ?. Is there anyone who has submitted, or is thinking about submitting, their application while completing 2 courses? Also I’m just curious about anyone applying for the ABSN program ?.

I applied to GGC and heard from them and got in but they aren’t my first choice so ?

I have a 3.94 science GPA

3.92 pre-req GPA

and I got an 84.7 on TEAS

I literally check my email every morning and see nothing, it’s so frustrating, especially because they told me mid-october.

Do y’all know how many are accepted for traditional?

I think before it was around 80 to 90 people. But I know that they received a grant from WellStar this year, to increase their numbers for the next few years. So hopefully they’ll accept about 100-120 now.

They accept 128 students per semester. They sent out an email a while back that over the next 5 years they are building yet another nursing building to accept double the students a semester. But, no plans of that in the near future.

I think you will get into all of them!! You have great stats!

I was on the waitlist for GGC for 2 weeks and got a denial letter yesterday. I guess maybe the class is officially seated for 2021... so hoping to hear from KSU soon

For GSU,  they wait until the very last possible minute. My friend didn't find out until the week before classes began in January.

Is there a waitlist/rolling admissions? If anyone in the first 120 or so get admitted and give up their seat?

I would hope so

Check your emails y’all!
I got in to the traditional track!

Check your emails!

I got into the accelerated program!

I just got my acceptance for the accelerated program! Check your emails!!
