Who is applying this Spring 2015 to get accepted next spring 2016?!!!? I am really nervous about the TEAS Exam. Has anyone taken it this year? How hard did you think it was?

Also what grades have you received in your classes and how did you do on the TEAS??

Hey guys here is what the advisor said about applying to both programs. I also asked how many applicants there were :yawn:

"Ms. Ruiz -

As long as you have a prior bachelor's degree, you may apply to either or both programs. We received around 600 applications total."

Hey guys!

I, too, have applied to the nursing program at KSU for Spring 2016. I actually applied to both the ABSN and BSN as I have a BS in Criminal Justice from KSU.

After reading some of the threads from past semesters, I'm quite anxious as to what the outcome will be since scores\grades from across the board have been accepted. I have corresponded with the advisers all summer and they have been most helpful.

I have one more prerequisite to complete - Micro - this fall. :)

Griffin? I think that's her name. There is only one Micro lecture I think so we are probably all in the same one!

I applied for both the traditional and accelerated programs for Spring 2016. My TEAS score was a 91.3%.

Can someone tell me how to go about calculating my GPA for the prerequisites and math/science?

Also, I called the nursing office today and was told we would find out about admission into the program around mid-September. Hopefully not too much more waiting!

Does anyone know if there is a way to log on the KSU site & see our nursing application information? For example our TEAS score and stuff... like our application status.

For the prerequisites you take your top 7 of the 12 grades and average it. Keep in mind they average the lab grades with the lecture grades (say someone has a C in a&p lab, but an A in lecture, there grade for that prereq ends up being a B). Do the same for the top 5 of 7 maths and sciences. 4 points for an A, 3 for Bs, and 2 for Cs. Hope this makes sense!

And I was told the same thing...mid September. It seems not soon enough but also way too soon! Haha. I'm ready for the waiting to be over but also have this huge knot in my stomach about it.

You can email the advisors and they are really good about getting back to you about what they see for each requirement. :-)

I just called Kennesaw and the advisor told me that letters have been sent out and we should know by the end of the week!!!!
