Is anyone planning on applying to KSU for Fall 2015?

Oh no!! í ½í¸² I just saw that. That's unfortunate. Thank you for letting me know. I guess the next one I take will be for the other schools I apply for.

It does! Thank you amn729 and alerrya! :)

Learned today this is how they weight your score. I wasn't at the seminar, but my friend was.

You have up to 90 points.

Overall GPA - 20 pts

Top 7/12 from pre-reqs - 20 pts

Top 5/7 (math/science) - 30 pts

Teas - 20 pts.

Specializes in Pediatrics.

I called last week and they told me resposes will be out by Mid April.

Thanks for the info @andiescandies !

Thanks for the info @andiescandies !

Sure! It makes me SO nervous!!! Waiting until mid-April is going to be so hard!

I'm trying not to stress out too much about it...even though this is the only school I applied to! If I did the math right, I have about 83 out of 90 points. Wonder if that's enough???

Hi all! I've applied for both traditional and accelerated for the fall. It's the only programs/school I've applied to as well, for now. Now about this point system, how do you calculate it?

@andiescandies

hey guys! i'm also applying for fall 2015, and i'm kinda freaking out because i feel like i might scrape out of microbio with a B. my sciences and maths so far have been pretty solid (i got a B in a&p 1 lab), but i'm really scared that even if i'm somehow accepted with the scores and such i gave them in my application, they might reconsider it when they see my microbio score. I'm a transfer undergrad student so i've been hearing rumors about people getting their acceptance revoked if their grades slip! Is this rumor true? I can't figure it out, and I'm really kinda freaking out about the possibility :c

It was my understanding that they look at your transcript from when you applied. That may be different if you're a current student at KSU as they have immediate access to your grades. What's your GPA? What's your TEAS score? I wouldn't worry so much about a couple B's. Read through past forums on here. It may boost your confidence to see the different scores and grades that got people accepted.

@avg3 - We are in the same Chem class this semester. Glad I found you here. I have a 4.0 in all the prereqs and a 94.7 on the TEAS, but my GPA is only a 3.45 because of my previous degree (B Chem Eng, GA Tech - wish they saw that!). I think you are in a good position - look forward to being in the program with you this Fall!
