It would be my first semester too- I am a transfer. Don't know if it matters but my stats are:

4.0 GPA

5/7 all A's

7/12 all A's

TEAS 85.3%

Does anyone know if classes get full during the summer semester at KSU? I need at least 2 of the 3 classes I have left (1 of which is any elective) and was curious how likely it was that I would get them....

The sciences do fill up sometimes! Usually add drop week you would be able to get in though! And it depends on the elective, some are faster than others.

Luckily I don't need a science:) I need Well 1000, hist 1111, and any other elective. As long as I can get 2 out of those 3 I will be okay. Does going to orientation to register for classes actually help? Or is it a waste of money?

Uhm, the only way I could see it helping is if you got an earlier time ticket for going, but otherwise they don't do much more than give you a computer and help you log in.

Orientation gives you an earlier time ticket, which could be to your advantage. If you do not attend an orientation, you wil have to register during final registration.

Are there typically any classes left during orientation? Because if they aren't there at orientation, it won't really help me to have an earlier time ticket:( I'm not used to KSU's hardcore competition for classes... Also do y'all know if all current students at KSU have already been allowed to register for Summer classes? Or are some still waiting for time tickets to open? Just trying to get an idea of when KSU students are done so I could see what would be left over.

Yes, there are some open still for summer during orientation. A lot of students do not want to take summer classes, so they are often easier to get into than the fall or spring. All current KSU students have already registered for summer. Our registration was last week, and the last time tickets opened this past Friday. I just glanced at the history 1100,1111,1112, and wellness 1000 classes since those were specifically asked about and there are still plenty of seats open in several sections. If you have your owl express information you can check the seats available still in classes by going to registration -> class schedule search -> summer 2016. From there you are able to search by subject and course number for all classes being offered this summer.
