I'm thinking I'll probably end up taking the History class the semester we only have 11 credit hours and either POLS and English 2000 level both the summer we don't have classes, or English 2000 level maymester and political science in the summer. I'm leaning towards both summer and probably online so they are flexible because I usually try to work a lot in the summers so I don't have to during the year as much.

I have my 2000 level English, 1000 level history, and political science left to take.

I am traditional and still have 3 general education courses left. They reccomend you not take any other classes on top of the nursing classes due to rigor of the program. However, I personally am planning to take one class in the spring semester that we only have 11 credit hours of nursing classes because I have to be a full time student for a scholarship. The other two I plan to complete either both during the summer we have no nursing classes, or one during a maymester and one during the summer we don't have nursing classes. I am trying to keep one maymester open because I would like to do the study abroad in Oxaca they offer nursing students.

GSU and KSU are both very reputable programs and ranked pretty high for nursing schools in Georgia. So, either way you will be properly prepared for your future career. As a student at Kennesaw, I absolutely love it here and have only heard wonderful things about the program. So I am biased when it comes to the matter. If you haven't already, I would see if you could visit the schools and check out the facilities and campus. They are going to have a completely different feel. Congratulations on your acceptance and best of luck with whichever you decide to pursue!

I was told today it was an email but by the end of the month, not today or tomorrow. So, once again we are hearing different things. This was from an advisor that I was told.

I wonder if they are sending a mixture of acceptances and denials or if they are sending all acceptances and then all denials. It would make sense to do all of one and then the other if they are really going in and editing them by hand for everyone.

It is 2016, why do they need to hand type them all?! It's like they just want us all to suffer.

Yes, there are some open still for summer during orientation. A lot of students do not want to take summer classes, so they are often easier to get into than the fall or spring. All current KSU students have already registered for summer. Our registration was last week, and the last time tickets opened this past Friday. I just glanced at the history 1100,1111,1112, and wellness 1000 classes since those were specifically asked about and there are still plenty of seats open in several sections. If you have your owl express information you can check the seats available still in classes by going to registration -> class schedule search -> summer 2016. From there you are able to search by subject and course number for all classes being offered this summer.

Orientation gives you an earlier time ticket, which could be to your advantage. If you do not attend an orientation, you wil have to register during final registration.
