I am traditional and still have 3 general education courses left. They reccomend you not take any other classes on top of the nursing classes due to rigor of the program. However, I personally am planning to take one class in the spring semester that we only have 11 credit hours of nursing classes because I have to be a full time student for a scholarship. The other two I plan to complete either both during the summer we have no nursing classes, or one during a maymester and one during the summer we don't have nursing classes. I am trying to keep one maymester open because I would like to do the study abroad in Oxaca they offer nursing students.
I haven't decided yet. I'm torn. My advisor said not to bother since I'll get my classes anyway, but my OCD wants to go ahead and get the classes registered. I'll let you know when I decide though! Oh okay! Thank you-that is very helpful. I was going to do them this summer but now I'm thinking I'll just push it back to next summer (2017) when we don't have any classes at all.
Will do! I'm thinking I'll probably end up taking the History class the semester we only have 11 credit hours and either POLS and English 2000 level both the summer we don't have classes, or English 2000 level maymester and political science in the summer. I'm leaning towards both summer and probably online so they are flexible because I usually try to work a lot in the summers so I don't have to during the year as much.

I am a transfer as well stefanier2009. At least we don't have to worry about not getting classes. We are guaranteed that we will at least get out classes since there are exactly enough classes for the nursing students. And by the way, in the past people could take pathos before the program, but you cannot anymore. They locked it so only nursing people can get in it the first semester. When non-nursing accepted people take it, it messes up the number of spots (since it's meant for nursing program students).
