Hey!
Has anyone applied to KSU for the Spring 2014 program?
Im applying for the accelerated and I had two interviewers, so I think that part was totally random. I had a man and a woman. The guy definitely tried to make me nervous. He was the one who walked me in and was cheerful/happy then in the interview he was stone cold. The woman was AWESOME. Super sweet! My interview lasted about 30 min but they did let me in 5 min early. FINGERS CROSSED!
I am applying for the traditional program------those stats above are crazy competitive compared to my GPA 3.5 and TEAS 89, im so nervous its all im thinking about!!! i do not want to face rejection from KSU again!!! the first time was hard enough, fingers crossed, trying to stay optimistic and positive! interview went good I feel but was pretty short....so i dont know if thats good or bad. They stumped me on a question that was "name a time an authority figure gave you a rule you did not want to abide by" im hoping letters go out by the time i leave for vacation this Friday!!!!
My thought process is they have GOT to know some questions will stump us..that's inevitable. I feel like we have had awesome luck on this thread so hopefully it stays just as great! My stats are an 84 on teas and 3.75 GPA for the traditional program. I'm sure we will all do great. I got to talk with Fran before and after my interview and she said I "wowed them" so hopefully that ends up being in my favor! I too do NOT want to get denied by KSU again- I feel like I have jumped through every hoop just to get an interview! I even scored higher on my first Patho exam than almost half the class who is IN the program! If I still don't get in....well....I don't know, lol. I will be incredibly sad, that's for darn sure! If it helps you all feel better, I was present when my friend from Micro got accepted into the program for Spring 2013. I just checked back on the totally awesome picture of her jumping up and down after finding out about her acceptance....and it was October 10th that she received her letter! Crazy that they can come so soon after interviews, but hopefully we will all know by mid-October! I will be at a wedding in FL that weekend so of course it would be my luck if it came then lol! I would go crazy!

I wish she would've asked me your final question! I don't feel like I really got to express exactly who I am and how badly I want to be a nurse. I didn't get stumped but I don't feel GREAT about my interview. My interview lasted exactly 14 minutes. That seems really fast. Ugh. So nervous. I just want to know already. So does anyone know how many traditional students they take vs. how many were interviewed? Does anyone know how heavily they weigh grades? My stats are great but I'm not thrilled about my interview :/
