Hi guys!

I know I'm not the only one out there who has applied for KSU's BSN program for next spring. Anyone else anxiously waiting to hear about interviews? The application deadline was May 31 and I applied for the traditional program. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)

Yes, don't put this off. I didn't use this resource last time, but I will be this time. It's not like a job interview. It's about 5 or 6 questions and you have to give them a certain situation that happened to you and the outcome. They make notes on this and that is how you're scored. I brought a resume, letters of rec., etc. but they would not take it. They are very nice though and are not trying to trip you up.

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and I want to say thank you all for your posts. They are very helpful especially for someone like me. I graduated with a chemistry degree and recently decided to be a nurse. I applied for KSU accelerated program this upcoming spring but still have not gotten my interview letter. I'm extremely worried since many have already received theirs. :( And I only live 12 miles away from KSU.

If a few more days go by and you have not rec'd your letter, I would email F or S and say that you have not heard either way. I definitely know of at least 2 that did not receive their letter in the past period and she was able to tell them they had an interview. I'm sure you don't want to bug them, but just wait a few more days and email.

I was so concerned so I called Sandii this morning; apparently, my letter was sent to a different address. She told me, 'You would be very happy' and sent me the letter via email. I got an interview!!!! Now let's hope I get in.

Congrats to everyone who got an interview!! This will be my second interview with them and it is kinda scary. Fran told me about these mock interviews they offer in the student center. They work with alot of students trying to get into the program. So, if you're not good at interviews, this could be a good resource.

Hello! I am new to this site. I have gotten my interview letter, although it is not my first to KSU. I talked to Fran last time I didn't get in and she talked about the mock interviews. Do you know when and exactly where they are held?? I really freeze during interviews, and I really think this would help. THANKS!

you call the career services center and they put you in a time.....they will videotape you and review everything. Watch out because they do book up. I wasn't able to get one last time.

I just called and scheduled my mock interview for September 7th. I think they still have alot of availability right now, but I wouldnt wait til the last minute to schedule one.
