Kennesaw State Fall 2013 Applicants

Just wondering if anyone out there is planning to apply to Kennesaw State for the Fall of 2013. I know the deadline is 3 months away, but I wanted to get a thread started for anyone interested in discussing the process as we go along!

Once again, thanks for the helpful advice. I think I will probably do what molls4 said and get as much education/experience at Gwinnett Tech and then transfer to KSU in the spring (if I get in). Otherwise, I'll just do the bridge after I complete the ADN program. Finally, you guys/gals all seem really helpful and nice. I hope you all get in and make some great nurses.

Be mindful that the KSU application will ask if you've ever been accepted to or have attended another nursing school.

I wouldn't lie because when I applied to KSU, I intentionally left off a school that I did poorly at and they found out somehow. Maybe it was the clearinghouse? Anyway, I was put on registration hold until those transcripts arrived. Just something to consider.

Thanks for the heads up Stephanie. I wouldn't have any quarrels with letting them know truthfully that I would much rather prefer their accelerated program over the program I was already in. I could definitely see why you did in your case. A friend of mine who is already in their accelerated program actually did the same thing you did.

I guess I checked my mail too early yesterday. Today I got the letter informing me I haven't been accepted to the accelerated program. Best wishes to you all.

I'm sorry but I really hope you reapply! It takes so much hard work to get where you have gotten, don't give up :)

Just got a personal email from KSU telling me I was accepted and how to register! Praise The Lord!

I wrote down all of the CRN numbers and then typed them into the bottom of the registration form. Try that
