Kennesaw State Fall 2013 Applicants

Just wondering if anyone out there is planning to apply to Kennesaw State for the Fall of 2013. I know the deadline is 3 months away, but I wanted to get a thread started for anyone interested in discussing the process as we go along!

Don't freak out yet. When I was accepted, they emailed us a few weeks later to send us instructions on how to register because they definitely haven't lifted a hold. There will either be instructions in your acceptance letter or they'll email you. Not being able to register or info not changing in degreeworks is no indication of acceptance or denial.

@kcox36 No problem! The anxiety levels for you must have been out of the roof when you tried to register and got those messages. Haha yeah they won't lift that until they know who has sent back their commitment letters I'm pretty sure :-) Hang in there!

Thank you!!! You are so right, I almost started to cry reading that and thinking I didn't get in. But your post really has lifted me up - we just have to stay positive and patient. Good things come to those who wait :)

O....M....G....I know I'm driving my husband crazy but I really just want to know!! GRRRR.... Our mail hasn't come yet. I live in Kennesaw so I'm hoping I get something today. I will post when the mail comes.

I hope so. Even if I am I have to pass Chem 2, and I'm borderline right now.

Thanks for the responses guys. It really helps me gain a perspective on my options. It makes me feel a lot more comfortable knowing I have a good shot of at least getting a interview.

I will probably go ahead and start the fall semester at Gwinnett Tech but I will still apply to KSU's accelerated program for next spring. If I get into KSU, I'll probably bolt Gwinnett Tech. It seems like a waste of time/money to spend my fall semester at Gwinnett Tech but I would MUCH rather be in KSUs accelerated program at this point.

If I fail to get into KSU next spring, I will just finish my degree at tech do the bridge program later like Molls suggested. Thanks again and good luck guys/gals.

Do you realize that you'll be half way done with your ADN by the time you get an interview with KSU? You may want to consider getting your ADN to BSN at KSU instead of wasting time and money.
