Kennesaw State BSN Summer 09

Hey! I was just wondering if anyone has gone through the interview process at Kennesaw. I have one coming up and was wondering what questions they ask. Also, how is the interview structured? I would appreciate any advice!

I guess the letters will start flowing in next week, they said 2nd week of January, i hope no further delays so we dont miss fall deadline in case one does not make it

Hi everyone! I got an email from one of the nursing advisors Friday that we should get the letters by this weekend (as in by Saturday I took it), but I haven't received one yet. I am guessing now that they are on the way at least :yeah: Good luck everyone!

I have not received mine either, today is a holiday so am hoping by tomorrow.

Hello everyone,

I am new to this thread but like you all I have been anxiously waiting to hear something and finally I received my acceptance letter on Saturday. The letter was dated 1/13/09. I am excited and nervous I have heard horror stories about how hard the program is but ready or not here I come SUMMER 09. I look forward to seeing everyone in May.

Do any of you entering in Summer know when we will get information about orientation or requirements (immunizations, CPR, etc.)?

I talked to them about a week ago because I was asking about scholarships to apply for. They said that we should recieve a letter with information about orientation and other stuff in beginning to middle of March. I hope it comes then! I already got my stethoscope and am really excited to start.

Bambam if you don't mind me asking where did you get your stethoscope from? I heard that the allheart.com website has affordable stethoscopes. I am also ready to start. I spoke to registration and they said we should be able to register for our classes on March 2nd.

I got mine from allheart.com. I got the Master Classic II. I figured I might as well go ahead and get a nice one so I won't have to replace it down the road. I looked around the internet for a while and it looks like allheart is the cheapest place to get them. It is backordered, so I think it will prob be a month before I actually get it. I heard that is the only thing that is bad from ordering from them. But we have plenty of time before classes start. We register on March 2nd? Do you know if that is priority registration cause I didn't think that started until the end of March?

I stand corrected I checked the website and March 23rd is early registration. March 2nd was put into my head when I called to see when the first day the semester would be starting and I was told May 28th and I was told March 2nd is when the summer semester schedule would be posted. So I automatically assumed we would be able to register that day as well. I guess I am rushing things because I am ready to quit my job and get started. I also want to make sure I get a good stethoscope because I have had trouble hearing out of them when I have tried to in the past. I am looking at the Littmann scopes but they are so expensive. I heard it is good to get your name put on it just in case it gets misplaced.
