Kennesaw State BSN Fall 2012

Hello,

is there anyone out there that has applied for KSU's BSN program for Fall 2012? I know it is really early and the deadline isn't until Jan. 31, 2012, but just wanted to see if anyone will be playing the waiting game with me this early. I actually applied for the Spring 2012, but got wait-listed. I hope I get in, but the reality is that everyone I've heard of that was in my same situation didn't get in. I'll just give KSU one more try.

Anyone know how interviews are organized for this program? Group or individual? Is there one date where they expect everyone to attend, or several dates to choose from? Ohh, the wait is so hard lol!

I think that the interviews are separate and we all choose the date and time that we are able to come in for the interview. Not sure but I don't think they would do it in groups! :) I am sooooo nervous!

Wow! End of March for interviews?! That's much sooner than I was expecting. Has anyone gotten their interview letter yet?

This is weird....they said the end of March for interviews. But, I called yesterday and asked and they said the letters haven't been mailed yet and it should be within the next few weeks. Conflicting statements...now I wonder which is the truth!

Wow! That is really odd! :-/ I wonder who we should believe! lol I hope we at least get the letters sometime soon, I am getting so anxious from all of this waiting.

When do letters get sent out to know if we get an interview or not? I called the admissions office today and they said that we would get a letter by the end of April knowing if we get an interview or not, but if the interviews are the last week of March then shouldn't we get a letter soon?

yeah, I just called the nursing administration today, and the guy on the phone told me we would get a letter by the end of April telling if we got an interview or not. I thought that was kind of late, but I don't know. I hope we get them sooner rather than later. I'm getting anxious too!

I know the waiting is really hard. I am in the program myself, started last Fall and we all got the same conflicting information over and over again. I think that they won't say a specific date so if for some reason the letters don't go out, they won't be getting a million phone calls. We got our letters the first week of April and the interviews were scheduled for the middle of April. Hang in there, it will be over soon!!

So far so good. It's tough but anything worth doing is. The support system I have around me with my fellow nursing students is awesome.

Thanks for the response. :) So I am guessing you are in the traditional program? When you had your interview how was it? I am just so nervous that if I do get an interview I will not know what to say. haha
