Kennesaw State BSN Fall 2012

Hello,

is there anyone out there that has applied for KSU's BSN program for Fall 2012? I know it is really early and the deadline isn't until Jan. 31, 2012, but just wanted to see if anyone will be playing the waiting game with me this early. I actually applied for the Spring 2012, but got wait-listed. I hope I get in, but the reality is that everyone I've heard of that was in my same situation didn't get in. I'll just give KSU one more try.

Mine is at 2:30 tomorrow too!

Thank you so much ksubiograd! one more question, how long did your interview take and did you pretty much know right off the bat how to answer the questions or did you have to think about some of the answers? Sorry I guess that is two!

The list of questions definitely helped me. They ask some general questions before going to questions that are directly related to nursing(they call them core competencies). I wasn't surprised by any question.

I have to agree with karamarie - there weren't really any questions that were weird. As far as the length of the interview, I know that the online confirmation of the interview said that it would be 15-20 minutes, but when I got in the room the interviewers told me "We're just going to chat for about 30 mins". I'm honestly not sure how long it took, I think around 30 mins is about right. They make you feel very comfortable, so it's not awkward.

Thank you so much everyone! This has put my mind at ease. I did a practice interview with my uncle tonight, he works for mckesson and gives interviews all the time so that helped out as well! :) I just can't wait to get this over with and find out if we get in or not! :)

It sounds like you are well-prepared! It really is laid back. Once you get in the room with the interviewers and start the interview you will breeze through it...it's not nearly as intimidating as it seems.

By the way - I checked the Nursing Advising office yesterday when I was there for class, and so far this week 3 people haven't showed for their interview. Every little bit helps lol - now we all have an 83% chance of being in the program. Not horribble odds!

Wow! that is crazy, I can't believe they just didn't show up for the interview!

I am feeling more confident after my interview today, I felt really good afterwords and they were very sweet women! :)
