Kennesaw State BSN Fall 2012

U.S.A. Georgia

Published

Hello,

is there anyone out there that has applied for KSU's BSN program for Fall 2012? I know it is really early and the deadline isn't until Jan. 31, 2012, but just wanted to see if anyone will be playing the waiting game with me this early. I actually applied for the Spring 2012, but got wait-listed. I hope I get in, but the reality is that everyone I've heard of that was in my same situation didn't get in. I'll just give KSU one more try.

I received a letter for interview on March 12th too for traditional BSN for this Fall.

I got a letter for interview on March 12th too. Super excited :)))

I'm in for an interview too! Yipee!! Is anyone doing a distance based interview? Good/bad choice?

I got an interview for the accelerated program. I have a fairly good idea of what to expect about the questions they will ask, but what should I wear? I already have a degree in Accounting, and every interview I ever went on I wore a suit and tie. But at the same time, I don't want to be the weirdo that shows up in a suit when everybody else wears jeans.

Does anybody on here have any suggestions?

AaronTL83,

I definitely think business attire would be appropriate. It's always better to be overdressed than underdressed for an interview.

Hello Sonyak,

Follow this link, there is a list of questions that will probably be asked. Congrats!

Hi Brianaelise. Congratulations to you, too. I start getting nervous now for the upcoming interview.

Hey Hellend,

Thank You! I am becoming very nervous as well, I just hope that I have good enough answers to give them! :) What does everyone plan on wearing?

Hi all -

I just signed up on the site and I'm excited to say that I got my letter in the mail last week for an interview! I just transfered and I had no idea how competitive the program is, so I'm feeling very lucky! According to the Nursing Advisor office, just over 900 people applied, 100 people got interview invitations, and of those 80 will be accepted into the program (traditional). I was stunned! So, for those of you who are worried about the interview - at least know that you have an 80% chance of getting in :)

I'm curious about how the actual program works though - for those on here who are in it now, any insight would be great!

Does anyone know how many accelerated BSN applications there were?

Off Topic,

I know your suppose to dress professional like a job interview. Is it okay to wear a dress suit or a pant suit?

crjohnson10210,

I'm curious about this as well.

joybaby,

I would think a dress suit or pant suit would be fine.
