I interviewed for a new position this week. I have been out of work since Feb 09, when I burnt out in my previous job. My last school was a large, almost 1000 souls, inner city-type suburban school with many social problems, poverty, child abuse, gangs, guns, violence, etc. 60-70 students/day, no back up support. Ugh.
Things are much better now and I'm in a far better place, so I threw my hat into a new ring. Small elementary neighborhood school, part time, diverse population, closer to my home. :yeah:And no police precinct in the front office! Keep your fingers crossed.
