Has anyone applied to the USC Keck Hospital Versant RN Residency Program (App filing period 10/7-14) for March 2014 employment? I would like to start a forum and update each other about the process! If previous applicants have gone through their residency programs before feel free to share your thoughts on the processes and experience!

I don't think there is a separate group for it, but if you go on the New Grad RN California page there is a discussion about USC. It is the fourth post down currently.

Anyone have an idea of how many applicants they received for this cohort? I know last summer cohort was around 3000+ applicants.

I had sent an e-mail on Friday asking if decisions had been made and this was the reply I got: "No one has been scheduled for an appointment. We are currently still reviewing application files. Thank you."

I am very surprised that between the all of the participants on this thread and the similar thread on Facebook, not one person has heard anything.

Maybe they are thinking about canceling it since the census is so low.

I think it just takes awhile, that's all! By low census do you mean not many applied? I think hundreds apply each time they open! Good luck to everyone!
