Has anyone applied to the USC Keck Hospital Versant RN Residency Program (App filing period 10/7-14) for March 2014 employment? I would like to start a forum and update each other about the process! If previous applicants have gone through their residency programs before feel free to share your thoughts on the processes and experience!

Good luck everyone!

Okay thanks. What's the fb page? I can't seem to find it.

I didn't think I would get it, but I'm okay with that.

GL to everyone!

No I haven't. From past experience, they tend to forget to send rejection emails.

Hello Everyone! I have been staking for a couple of weeks and finally decided to write something. I had an interview the first week. It's my second time applying. First time I did not get an interview. This time I was lucky! I don't have fb therefore this is the only form of communication and updates I know. The unit manager told me we would know before Xmas. The last interview day was today. About 750 ppl applied for med surg and 200 for OR not sure how many positions for each department. I don't know if it's an email or mail that will inform us of the outcome. I hope we find out soon! I figured after today we should find out quickly. Good luck everyone!

I had an interview also. Wish we could hear by tomorrow, wouldn't that be awesome. I wander how many people they hire per unit.

Roughly 1000 applicants? Is that true, because previous cohorts had around 3000+

Yes, that's correct. I thought the same thing over 3k when I told Tonia and she said "oh no, it would take us longer to go through applications." Last application cycle was 1,200. I think ppl hear different numbers but it's all related: a lot of ppl to little spots. Will write if I hear anything else.

Ohh okay, then it wasn't too bad. 1000 applicants isn't a lot. Especially for USC.

I don't if ppl just didn't know about it compared to UCLA.

Good luck to all

Probably not, since everyone confuses USC County with USC University Hospital.
