Hey everyone! I have been trolling this site since before nursing school and tonight I finally made the leap to open an account. Hooray! I graduated this month and am scheduled to take the NCLEX two weeks from today. Yikes.. I am considering rescheduling because I feel I may not be prepared enough. I have started the Kaplan trainers and have done the Diagnostic and Readiness tests. QT1: 58.7QT2: 68Diagnostic: 70Readiness: 61I just finished the Kaplan NCLEX review course and the instructor drilled into us that if we are scheduled within the next two weeks after the end of the course to reconsider our date because it is probably too soon. I still have the rest of the question trainers to do and some of the Q bank. Based on my Kaplan scores and the short timeline before my test would it be wise to reschedule to a later date?

Was it to you or the whole class?

Reschedule.I did not go through the Kaplan course. I only speak with experience on passing two NCLEX exams-PN and RN. I became licensed last year.I waited until my practice questions were closer to 70% before taking the exam. I passed the first time.Focus on what subject that could potentially have you decrease the possibility of staying above the passing standard during the boards. Study the rationales, etc.Only you can decide if you need more time, more questions, etc. Some people need only one source, others need two or more.I used the Kaplan book, PharmPhlash cards, Exam-CRAM, LaCharity, Lippincott, Saunders NCLEX 4000 cards, and NCSBN. I spent 1-2 weeks in each area. Took me about two months, and it worked for me.
