I have tried Kaplan Review Center but sorry to say, it didn't help, although they provide 2 Kaplan books and a CD upon enrollment. Kaplan has lots of study materilas which you cannot take home. You just have to read and leave it all there. Kaplan do not provide handouts to students, that's what disappointed me and more or less than 10 meetings for 3-4 hours. It depends maybe on the area where you enrolled, I don't know.
But the good thing is Kaplan Review books are excellent, all infos you need to know are there. I passed my NCLEX using the Kaplan Course book, review books, CD's as my reference. If you have these tools, then you do not need to enroll in their review center. But if you would like to try, then go for it.
I passed my NCLEX RN in Hawaii.

a lot of other students in my class took the kaplan and almost all of them passed.. i heard it is great and i got a hold of their kaplan disc and it really helped me passed the nclex... to take kaplan class would cost about $450... i highly recommend you to take the class because it will teach you test taking skills, how to eliminate wrong answers...

I took Kaplan and it was not helpful for me...I did not pass the NCLEX until I decided to take an online course called Readytopass. This program is outstanding and helped me to narrow in on the basics as well as the details that I needed in order to pass my exam. I took the NCLEX three times and finally passed the third time after taking this course. I had one to one teaching via an instructor who teaches Nursing and also is a nurse. I also had a booklet that was included in the course fee which I will be keeping as a reference for when I start my RN position in late Jan. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to pass the test. I passed after 75 questions which was great. You can take this course online from anywhere in the US as well as worldwide. If interested go to READYTOPASS.com for more info. Good luck everyone!
