I took readytopass which is an online course...I finally passed after the third time!!!! I really don't think I would have passed had I not search through allnurses.com and found a thread from someone recommending thier course. They are based out of Long Island andhave an in class course and an online course. I took the online course and just recently passed. You get one on one with a really good instructor and she knows her stuff and has been teaching students for years so she was very good at picking out my weaknesses and my strengths regarding the material. Before this course I had studied everything...any book about NCLEX I have still in my closet! This online course was the only thing that helped me! Godzhand, Im sorry to hear about your setback. I totally know how you feel bc I faile twice. I wanted to recommend an online course to you called Readytopass.com. This is actually a website that saved my rear end. I took the NCLEX a third time and passed! I am sure the only reason I passed was due to this course and the one to one attention I received from an instructor via phone. Its really worth the buck. I took Kaplan the first time around and to no avail. If you are interested I would recommend this course. You will be speaking with the instructor one on one while you both follow an online program together. She was really good at picking out what I was weak in and what I was strong in. Before taking this course, I was all over with my studying...I mean I knew so much information and studied so hard I could not believe that i failed while my friends passed. I felt like i studied much harder than them. This online course saved me big time. I found out about it by searching through the threads on allnurses.com....so please let me know if you have any questions about this program and the best of luck to you...you will make it and reach your goal. God did not bring you this far to leave you. I decided the third time around that I was not going to let doubt and defeat get in my way...I had done that after I first failed and it did not give me the results I wanted. you can mope and feel bad after you take it and pass but right now you have a job to do. A good nurse does God's work I truly beileve this and the harded it takes for you to pass the stronger you will be for those who are vulnerable and weakend by sickness when you are caring for those who need you. Hi I just read your thread and I know exactly ho you feel:( I took the test three times and finally passed on the third try. My life was put on hold for sure. After failing a second time, I found someone on here who wrote rave reviews about an online course called readytopass.com. This is actually a class course as well as an online course. I took the online course as I am not livinh in Long Island NY. The online course was individualized to my weaknesses and my strengths. I had an instructor via phone as well as an online course from my computer. I highly recommend this class. I don't think I would have passed without it! I took Kaplan and it was not helpful for me...I did not pass the NCLEX until I decided to take an online course called Readytopass. This program is outstanding and helped me to narrow in on the basics as well as the details that I needed in order to pass my exam. I took the NCLEX three times and finally passed the third time after taking this course. I had one to one teaching via an instructor who teaches Nursing and also is a nurse. I also had a booklet that was included in the course fee which I will be keeping as a reference for when I start my RN position in late Jan. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to pass the test. I passed after 75 questions which was great. You can take this course online from anywhere in the US as well as worldwide.
