Just completed the Kaplan readiness exam and scored a 60%. My score on the diagnostic exam was 59%. I plan to test in a couple of weeks. Nervous.
I did diagnostic test before graduate because they gave us extra point who got above 60% . (I did 62.7%)I just doing q bank questions every couple day. We will start kaplan 4 days course next week. I get around 60% on q bank..
Should I wait to finish 4 day course for readiness test ?
Also for q trainer, should I take now?
you're supposed to take the diagnostic test before the kaplan class and the readiness test towards the end of the kaplan class. i got 63 on the diagnostic and 71 on the readiness because kaplan teaches you how to answer questions.
All, the vast majority of people who graduate from nursing school pass NCLEX without spending a dime on supplemental or review courses, test banks, or any of that. Reread that sentence.
The NCLEX is designed to determine who learned how to be a nurse and you can't take it unless you graduate from an accredited program.
Was your easy-going, mellow-yellow faculty likely to let you skate on shoddy work? No, I didn't think so.
The national pass rate for first-time NCLEX takers is well north of 85%-- that's >85% of people pass on their first sitting.
Proportion, not panic.
