Q4 55%

Q5 59%

Q6 68%

I NOTICED that when im relax AND FRESH my score are above 60s,,during times that i come out froma night shift and take the test i can only get below 60,,,.but sometime i just need to test my self during those period to see how i can managed .

im eager to take my test ASAP,, I WONT SAY IM 100% READY ,,but i can proudly say im fully prepared this time around..

on your case,,you can tell how ur confidence is..if ur instict is telling u to go ahead,,then go for it...ur the only one can see and feel that..low scores on kaplan dont think will be a bases....as i saw lots with low scores passed their exam...

GOOD LUCK ILL PRAY FOR UR SUCCESS

iammblessed2011 do not feel bad, think about what are your weaknesess. there is a better time for everybody, some are morning, some afternoon, check yous scores, i thougth i was morning but my scores are better at evening....

well, they say you need 60's in the last 2 qtrainers. you are doing okay, i seen some people passing with those scores, but, more than anything you have to have that feeling you are ready, we are never going to feel completely ready, that is for sure... but focus in the kind of questions which make you go down, see if you change question from right to wrong or viceversa.. reasses your test taking skills, read all the rationales, even the ones are correct.

I did Q7 the day before my exam and scored 63%. Then reviewed the rationales later on that day and passed with 75Q on the nclex so you are good. Focus on ur weakness and practice more on them

Thanks joe,

I too took a different approach this time. The first time i think i did almost 3000 questions and didnt pass. I didnt review content because i felt like since i was just getting out of nursing school, i just need to focus on answering NCLEX style questions. Thanks for your words of encouragment. When are you testing?

Thank you and congratulations :)

Iamblessed2011,

Your scores are perfectly fine. My highest score was 72% on a good day, lowest 50%. I passed the NCLEX with 75 quest.

The MOST important part is for u to read ALL the rationals, even the correct ones, and to keep on practicing until the very end. Do not panic if you aren't scoring higher, because the quest trainers get harder and harder. Kaplan is a great resource. It really teaches you good strategies to make educated guesses when you don't know the correct answer. I thought Kaplan was harder then NCLEX.

You will do fine. Have confidence in yourself. YOU CAN DO IT!!

Nop. I just tracking how is the test, what to expect, where to study, what books works for people, how do you know if you are ready for the test, reviews... I dont want surprises within the possible margin. I learned a lot from people who share their experiences, the great sharing, and great support from each other...

Thanks luckyRN07

I think i'm getting better with the critical thinking part. Although, Kaplan is a great resource to answer kaplan question, i find it difficult to use in other resources like lippcott Q and A and nclex 3500. is it just me or did you notice that too.

BTW: Congratulations!!! :yeah: :w00t:

:ancong!:

I totally agree.. and coming from someone who is taking it the 2nd time trust me You dont want any surprises. What are you using to review?

If you are talking about the decision tree, yes, I found it difficult for everything even Kaplan. I hardly used the tree.

When I started studying for the NCLEX I promised myself not to go crazy using different books. A friend of mine gave me an INCREDIBLY EASY q & a book, which I used once in a while.

Try to concentrate on one maybe two books. This way you don't get your mind everywhere. Make a list of your weak points and do lots of questions. Once you feel strong with something, move on to the next. You already know the basics, now learn how to discriminate (for a lack of a better word) between answers.

Hope this helps... Best of luck!
