Not sure how good of an indicator they are but my instructor for Kaplan said that if you are getting between 65-70% on the quizzes you were doing good. We had to get a 70% on our benchmark exam for the director of our school to sign off for state boards. I think I got around a 74 and passed the boards at 75 questions. I did feel the Kaplan questions were set up similar to NCLEX.
Best of luck to you,

To add to Steeler7BigBen, Kaplan does say if you are scoring 65-70%, then you are doing well and it's a good indicator that you are ready to take NCLEX.
However, I think it is MORE IMPORTANT to understand the rationales for each question/answer for the right and wrong answers. My highest Q-trainer score was 61% and I passed with 75 q's. I made sure I understood ALL the rationales.
Good luck.
The Kaplan prep questions are identical to the ones you will see at the day of the test. I felt very comfortable and it seemed as I was taking one of the many prep tests I did (I don't know if I passed yet). Kaplan also teaches test taking strategies which the NCLEX is all about. Knowledge and recollections are not passing questions. So you need to critically think and Kaplan nails it on the head with that. (Ok Kaplan send me some $$ now)
are you enrolled in a class too?
the question trainers were actually done before you proceed to qbanks
in each trainer it get's difficult and kind of different from the others
after so, i answer qbank which helps me a lot
if you'll see, as you answer each and every quiz, there's a summary that let's you know your current progress and which one is your weakest
the percentage is a good indicator and helps you to get motivated to answer and read more questions :typing

:heartbeat:heartbeat:heartbeatCan someone please tell me how good of an indicator the Kaplan tests are for passing the boards, specifically the program of Kaplan Question Trainer that has like 7-8 tests?
