Kaplan Qbank: Worth it?

Is the Kaplan Qbank worth $300 if someone is looking for additional questions to be reviewed over a 2.5 week period. I have exhausted Saunders, Mosby's and NCBSN questions. In fact, I think that I may have simply memorized many answers at this point. Just looking for some additional online practice questions. Thanks.

im doing Saunders right now, but to be honest i feel like im gonna finish this material but not confident. Im still trying to be able to get Suzanne's program. But i still want to consider KAPLAN, any idea how much is the whole program? with the review thing and not just the Q BANK?

If you are planning on doing Kaplan as well as Suzanne's program then you are not doing her program. It is only devised to be used on it's own

Yes, if you are planning on using her plan then that is all you need. You decide. If you use her plan and then something else and say fail the exam then you haven't used her plan as it is devised to be used totally on it's own

For sure. Kaplan is ver professional and theirs ques having you thinking. The answers are not that obvious.

I do believe that Kaplan q's are helpful. I recently took my boards and the way the questions were written, were very similar to how kaplan's questions were formatted. Sure the content was different, but for the most part, it was the same. Actually, after I took my board, I felt guilty for not studying all of those questions that were readily available to me by Kaplan. Any new questions will help, no matter what.

I have one semester left should I get it now or wait? Does the 300$ pay for a lifetime membership or how does it work? any info would be great I am having problems with my maternal child class and I heard it might help!

Would u say Kaplan is the best? Can I just get the book is it the same thing? Sorry for all the questions.

ABSOLUTELY YES!!! I was hesitant to pay the insane amount of money. I refused to. Fresh after graduation I bought 2 NCLEX review books and studied and did questions for 2 months. THEN, my friend (that had previously failed nclex w/out kaplan and then bought kaplan and PASSED) passed the NCLEX and gave me her kaplan materials. OMG, what a difference. I only had a chance to look kaplan :idea: over 2 weeks before my test (I TAKE MY TEST TODAY AAAA can you tell I am freaked out, lol) and it has helped me tremendously I went from passing in the 48% to a 93% yesterday. You must do it. It teaches you very valuable ways to deduce answers as well as focuses on target material.

Keep in mind that you do sign a contract with Kaplan and you pay your money for the materials and are not supposed to be giving to others that have not taken their course or online materials. :)

Kaplan was definitely worth it for me..

If you havent finished school, though, I would wait to purchase it.

There is an expiration of the Kaplan membership..

One tip: my classmate scheduled for a Kaplan Representative to come and "pitch" buying the program to my entire class..

We were all given a slightly reduced rate for signing up and committing to paying for the program (w/ a $50 deposit)

My friend who arranged the meeting got to take the course for FREE..

Suzanne is not giving anything out for Kaplan. I seriously doubt you can get it for free, usually you have to pay for Kaplan.
