Please help!! I need to decide on which to do practice questions. y exam will be 3 weeks from now. which among the four will be the most beneficial in preparation for nclex.. Thank u!
I did the same. I think I was 50-55% as well. But now I'm getting higher thoughout the lessons. I wouldn't let it discourage you at all. Based on how the nclex works, if you miss one, make sure you get the next 1 right. It may take you to 265 questions but as long as you roller coaster and just don't miss anymore than 3 in a row, you should be successful. Think positive and you will pass. Take a look at each question and learn from. Start off strong
thank u for the encouraging words! hope i could browse on kaplan too while on saunders and ncsbn.. :)
Yes, there are repeat questions. Once you take a test you can retake the test, the questions just come back up in a different order. That has helped me learn a lot. I will wait at least a few days and a few more tests before I retake a test
do u have the feeling like u dont know anything when your answering the questions in NCSBN? i have that feeling and its keeping me down..
Not really, I would just make sure when you miss a question you read and understand the right answer. I feel for sure that as I am going through it I am getting better at it. Just read the points to remember and the interactive exercises. I also did the Buszta Review Course in Ohio and they gave us plenty of handouts that I am reading which is helping me understand
Not really. I would say if you miss a question or get it right make sure you read it and understand why the answer is what it is. I am in ohio and I also took the Buszta Review Course and they gave us handouts that our very helpful that I have been reading. This has helped me as I have gone through NCSBN. Its hard at first but has become easier for me as I have studied and read
My pre-test was a 60%, so don't feel bad. I do all the chapter. There are points in the chapter that are really good to go over. Also on some pages there are "know for NCLEX" boxes. They might have anemonic or key facts, I write those on flash cards. I am on chapter 8c and the whole chapter 8 takes about a week and half to go over. If you are in a rush focus on 6 and all of 8. 6 is pharm with med calc practice. I heard to do all of the practice and then before you test, retake pre-test and you should score 15-25% better.
Kaplan Questions + Saunders Content (questions if you have enough time I suppose) ...That's the combo I used ... worked reasonablly well .. I had 4 weeks to study post graduation ... though most of it surfing the internet! =(
hi! thanks! were u able to finish all of saunder's? i believe there are more or less 4,200.. :)

Ok because I am using Kaplan and it's ok I guess. I don't like it much.
