Hi, I will be starting the RN program with Kaplan as soon as we relocate. My husband's in the Military so the wait lists at other colleges turned me away from them.
Do any of you go to Kaplan? If so, how did it work out for the student loans and stuff , I am confused. It seems as if tuition is around 45000 for the couple years of the program. I am eligible for the pell grant and the military grant of 3000 per year. But would the loans be able to cover everything else since it's a vocational school more than a traditional college? Thanks!
Just wondering if the DON had so many applicants from September, that many were moved over to January? Maybe this is why everything seems to be earlier this time around? Just a thought.
It is a bit confusing, but I'm sure we will hear something soon!
Best of luck to everyone :)
Yeah I heard the same thing.....there were ALOT of applicants for Sept. I hope that's the case though! Haha. Sooner we know something the better!
Hahaha...I like calls too, but for sure prefer things in writing. How about an e-mail with an attached confirmation letter along with a list of classes that were transferred in? LOL. Not asking for too much, am I? :-)
A phone call shortly followed by something in writing! Hahaha. And no I don't think ur asking too much;).
I spoke with my rep today... sometime in November they will be sending out official letters of acceptance along with classes that have transferred (if you have any). They are still finalized who will get the remaining spots after the holdovers from Sept applicant pools have been taken care of. I'm sure this goes without saying but... keep me posted :)

Thanks so much for the update! Hopefully, we will all be classmates :-)

Probably. They did say that September was the hardest one to get into just because SO many people apply for that start date.
