Kaiser Southern California Inexperienced New Grad Program October 2021

Hi All!

Just wanted to start a thread for those of us that applied to Kaiser's New Grad Program in Southern California for the October 2021 cohort. 

I'm sure we'll all be impatiently waiting to hear back!

For reference, I applied to Downey, Irvine, and South Bay as an internal candidate.

@Bera22When you uploaded your snapshot, did you just upload it to the attachments page - the same location as all of the other files?

Yes, I uploaded it in the attachment portion of my profile.

I also got an email yesterday requesting a snapshot for Irvine. Good luck!

@kkvalenz @Bera22 aside from the Snapshot, BLS, BSN degree, and updated resume, what else did you guys upload?

Hi, I have 2 letters of recommendation and my ACLS and nihss cert uploaded.

@Jad78 I uploaded my ACLS, PALS, and NRP. Basically any additional certificates. I have my BSN in progress so I also uploaded a verification letter of my enrollment including my anticipated graduation.

Hi! I am in North CA and our apps haven’t opened yet. Could I ask what you put in your resume and if you have any experience?

My resume includes an introduction, my skills, my college education and 10 years of experience.  I made it short and sweet on one page. I've been an lvn for 13 yrs in a variety of settings and a CNA before that! ?

Does anyone know if Kaiser Irvine pays more then San Diego?

Hello, just want to ask if anyone else received interviews? any updates? what is the email they send the snapshot ? im worried to miss it

@Diancik12 Not yet. The initial snapshot stated that it would be about 2-4 weeks before they inform us if we are selected for interviews. It got sent to the email I have linked to my KP profile.

So I Woodland hills requested my snap shot to be turned in by the 5th and now the application status says "talent acquisition interview scheduled", does anyone know what that mean?
