Kaiser New Grad 2012

U.S.A. California

My girlfriend's roommate got a call for an interview, she thinks she was a panel interview. Anyone else get called? This is for the Kaiser in the SF Valley area.

Hi: For those of you who interviewed at Kaiser SD, how was their interview? I think a few of you were offered a spot... what do you think made it happen for you? Was the interview straight forward? Any info would be much appreciated. Thank you.

The interview was different than what/how other facilities are asking. Just take your time to think about what you want to say and be yourself. Did you specifically hear that some people from Thursdays interview will be offered positions?

@ Boobear No... just what I saw on this blog. Some said they "got one of them." From what I understand, offers will be coming in less than 2 weeks. They are interviewing tomorrow and I think that is it.

@RNJules, I believe that comment was regarding San Jose L&D position. There was 30 people interviewing for 4 spots.

I think the San Diego interviews were completed as of today. (4 full days). I interviewed on day one (Thurs). They told me it would be 2-3 weeks before we know. Did anyone ask how many positions they have, or how many people actually interviewed? They were runny way behind, so I didn't want to ask too many questions, ha-ha. Thanks for sharing any of those details. I did hear they had more positions than they have had previously, and they are revamping the residency. It sounds like a great opportunity and will definitely support the successful transition from student to professional nurse!

A friend and I both interviewed today. She was told that they're hiring 25-30, but doesn't know how many are interviewing.

Hey Coriander...how did it go?!

Got it:) Thanks Dawnikans. They said between 25 to 30 today and interviewing tomorrow too. Definitely sounds like a good opportunity. I didn't ask how many they interviewed. Here's hoping there are not a ton of internal candidates. Good luck everyone.

It went okay. I gave one answer that one of the interviewers did not like at all, but I'm hoping the rest of my answers were pleasing. :)

It was a good mix of clinical and behavioral, I thought.

So today is the last day of interviews? I hope we find out by the end of next week...just not sure since the 4th of July is a week from today.

That is the info I got yesterday BooBear. Does anyone have the email address for Estela Enriquez? (spelling) The Nurse Recruiter was supposed to email it to me since she did not have her cards, but I don't want to bother him for it? I just had the interview with those two. Thanks.

We were instructed by the recruiting assistant at the front desk, to mail thank you cards to that address and they will forward them to the interviewers. None of my interviewers had cards either.
