well i went in at 7:30 7:45ish and i got out at 9:00. i was the first of the nclex test takers to leave the center. i have to admit that i was a little skeptical of people who were saying that the test makes you feel this bad and that stupid, but now i am a firm believer. my computer shut down at 75 questions and i kid you not i must have had like 30 or 40 select all that apply questions. i didn't even bother to count because it was that many. after question number one they kept coming and coming. and when i did get a regular multiple choice question it was about some strange topic. i did get a few priority and some delegation and a lot of infection control. but i can usually tell when i pass a test and guys this one i did not! anyway i will keep you posted.

I feel the same exact way you do!! I took NCLEX yesterday...got 75 ?'s and like you ALOT of SATA. I also got tons of infection control, prioritizing, and teaching, only 5-6 med questions, no math, quite a few peds, and 1 OB. I'm a good test taker. I graduated top of my class and scored a 99% of passing the first time on the ATI comp predictor. But the NCLEX made me feel like the dumbest person on the planet!! I have NO idea how I did and I'm SO scared to get my results tomorrow. I'll be praying for both of us...good luck!

My impression from my NCLEX experience, this board and talking to classmates and instructors is that SATAs are the "deep end" of the question pool. So, the more you see, the better you're doing. May not be accurate, but it's a theory....
by the way i also took kaplan and scored a 72% on q trainer 7 and i don't feel like it helped one bit. if the boards are moving in the direction of those alternative type questions kaplan strategies will no longer apply.

I wish you luck, what do you mean when you say the questions are strange?, is it a topic or disease condition that you never heard of?
Gosh am so scared
