I just took the NCLEX RN today!! Excited, yes. Terrified, YES:eek:! I got somewhere around 215 questions. Everyone of my friends that has already taken it has gotten 75. I am worried out of my mind. There were some items on there that I had NO CLUE about. I had 5 SATA, 3 dosage calc., 1 that you put in order. I didn't have a whole lot of drugs, mainly priority and infection control. Any insight, besides the 'you'll have to wait and see'? Anyone else in the same boat?

All of us are in the same boat......or we were.
Everyone feels that they failed NCLEX. Just hang in there. You probably did fine.
I had 15 "check all that apply" questions. I think some of them were there to trip me up as I only saw one possible option, so I only chose one. I had 10 math questions, 3 of them were mg/kg/min while my classmate had no math questions.
I paid the fee and got my results in two days. Best $7.95 I ever spent. I passed and got my RN pay starting the same day.

Thread moved to the NCLEX Forum where it is more appropriate.
As you well has expected, it is impossible to second guess how anyone will do on their exam. You are going to have to wait until you can actually find out your results.
Best of luck to you.

Natkat did you say you only checked one answer on some SATA questions? I was under the impression that SATA questions had two or more correct answers? Please clarify, did you only check one because its possible to have only one correct answer on those questions or did you knowingly just check one because you felt you had no other choice.
I have never come across a SATA that only had one correct answer. I sit for the boards next week and SATA questions scare
Thanks

i took nclexrn on june 28, 2008. i got 75 questions with a ton of sata, meds, priority and delegation. i was a nerves wreck the night before and hardly got any sleep. i was okay when i took the exam and felt pretty good after i left, but i took the exam with my friend. she kind of made me feel anxious after the fact. i went home and started to look up all the questions that i could remember. this made things worst. i finally got my results on monday at 0805 and i had passed. this was on of the happiest days of my life thus far other than the birth of my children. i just want to wish everyone who have passed thier nclex :yeah::ancong!::urck:
