I just took the NCLEX RN at 8am this morning, it stoped at 76 questions, I hope that I passed but I highly doubt it. There was a lot of questions in which I had no clue what the diagnosis was. I guess I will know friday! What;s concerning me is the computer shutting of at 76 Questions.

Don't worry yourself sick.......I took my NCLEX yesterday & it shut off at 75. One more question doesn't make a difference. I, too, felt as if I screwed the whole thing up. It's over now...I just have to wait. Does your state participate in quick vue?

I felt the same way...some of my classmates that passed got 75, 78, and don't worry about how you feel, completely normal!

Doesn't matter on the number of questions.
Good luck

Desperately seeking reassurance...
Just took the Nclex this morning. Throughout the entire exam I felt that I had a working knowledge of most of the material, and was only clueless a few times. I had many SATA (not sure how well I did on those), and only 1 calculation question. When the computer cut off at 75, I felt like I'd done well. Now I'm very anxious since viewing some of these threads that suggest that if you feel that you did well then you probably failed. I don't feel like I got them all right, but I did feel prepared to answer the questions. I get the impression that in order to pass at 75 you need to feel like you failed. I didn't feel that way at first, but now I do. Will someone please be straight up with me about this? Anything will help. Thanks for listening.

SATA questions are only a format style, they do not determine level of question.
Not all coming out of the exam think that they failed, though the majority do.
All get 50% correct and 50% incorrect, it is the level that you get the majority of the correct ones at that will determine if you passed or not.
Best of luck on your results.
