Just took NCLEX and not looking good!!!

listen, pearson trick is 4real, took my test for the first time last week, tried the trick, took me to cc page, felt bad and wasnt happy, paid to view my result after 48 hours, unsuccessful... so, if u dont get it this time, take heart and study harder 4 the next one..God will bless u.

Im sorry you FAILED...better luck next time. This is a MONSTER test. You have to knock him off..NCLEX is like a very strong virus..needs a very strong antibiotics to kill it...Good luck! Study again.

just took my nclex-pn this morning in ohio. had the max. 205 ?'s. did not have a good feeling about it at all! i really felt like i guessed at all of it. thats no joke. that thing was hard! my classmate next to me only had the min. 85 ?'s. we got to her house did the trick and mine said "results are on hold blah, blah, blah". felt kinda good about it cuz at least it didnt send me to the c.c.page. well, i got home and thought i'd try it again. not so good this time. I got that ugly stupid c.c. page! i keep going back to the site and doing it over and over again hoping it will change and i'll get the "good" pop-up. no such luck. i've been crying ever since. :cry: how could i have messed this thing up? $200.00 wasted!!!!!!!!! and now i gotta spend another $200.00 to retake the darn thing!!! somebody please tell me what the heck they use that $200.00 for? does pearsonvue think that we can just go into our back yards and pull $200.00 off a tree!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats alot of money just to take a test.

sorry, i'm just a little upset right now:angryfire anyways, good luck to all who haven't taken the dreadful test. i'm sure you'll do better than i did.

Hello!!!
I just took the NCLEX and finished an hour ago! And I ended getting all 265 questions!!!!! I tried the pearsonvue trick, and it went to the CC page!! Should I wait more time to do it again?!?!???

Just start ur studies again. and as 45 days passed, retake again. DOnt wait 3 to 4 months. best of luck

yeah but ...45 days...200 dollars doesn't grow within 45 days. You have to work your butt for it. The Board think we have this money all the time and they make the test HARD for you to pass and pay another 200 the next time you think to take the stupid exam...

to compete RN or LVN program u almost paid thousands of dollors$$. So 200 $ is nothing front of thousand dollors.?

It really is unfair either way...I'm just down cause I really did study, spend hours at Barnes using all the books that were mentioned on here, did cd's....I guess I just see a nursing degree being worthless if you can't even pass the nclex-rn

NCLEX ABCDZ STRATEGY

A. Spend 1/3 of your time reviewing content you don't understand

B. Spend 2/3 of your time answering test question

C. Used most comfortable NCLEX review book for content.

D. Begin with the area that is most difficult for you or area that are least familiar

E. Use a good nursing reference manual or internet to find information

F. Define the disease in terms of pathophysiological process and understand the disease process.

G. Identify the early and late symptoms of disease

H. Identify most important or life-threatening complication associated with the disease.

I. Define the medical treatment.

J. Identify nursing intervention associate with early and late symptom of disease process

K. Identify what to teach patient and family to prevent in other to adapt to disease process.

L. list the area you need to review.

M. Answering question in a test mode will improve your test taking skills

N. Each time you answer question, check the number of question you answered correctly that will motivate you to read and study more next time.

O. Keep track of your score to see how you're improving in all area of your content.

P. If you answer less than 65% correctly, these is a WARNING SIGNAL!! Spend lots of time reviewing content and stop doing question on the weakest area

Q. If you answer 65-75% correctly your performance is improving and success is certain. Continue working with the content until your score is above 75%

R. Every wrong answer, identify why you answered it wrongly.

S. Practice 75- 85 question to known how you'll be prepared for NCLEX Exam and see how many you answered correctly

T. Do understand the question first, formulate your answer of hand and compare with the option given to see how close your answer!!

U. Anticipate Test question will increase in difficulty when you get the first question right!!

V. Do not panic if someone finishes before you!!

W. Do not CRAM CRAM!!

X. Remember that you have learned a great amount of nursing knowledge and the exam is only designed to determine whether you're able to practice safely @ entry level

I ended with 265 too!!? so? and i passed! dont assume anything until you see the result...and waiting is a pain in the A$$ so go shopping...watch movies...go swimming..whatever to get ur mind off..then check result 4 days after... :smokin: Good luck!
