Just took the NCLEX a little over an hour ago...Had 78 questions and now i'm home trying to do the Pearson View Trick but only get the saying that my results are on hold at this time... Feeling so nervous....
Did you look to ensure that the scores are in? Mine was on hold and a few hours later, said test delivered.!
Yeah, it came up with the results have been delivered message within an hour of taking the test that's why I'm wondering why my results are still on hold...One of my friends took it this summer and got this message for two days though before it changed to the good pop up...
Just be patient. Since you accidentally stood up, they may review the tapes from the testing day to show that it was an innocent mistake. Give it a couple of days and check again. I'm not certain who you would call to check the reason for the hold on results...Pearson, NCSBON, or your BoN but it may be listed in the pamphlet handed out after you tested. Good luck. Waiting is the hardest art.
I'm so sorry that you didn't get the good pop up. It is very difficult to get such news when you put so much time and effort into the process; but you seem to have a good attitude. It sounds like you have a good plan to take a bit of time off from studying.
Soon, you will get a letter from the BoN with your official results outlining your area(s) of weakness so that you can determine where you might need to focus.
When I was preparing to take the NCLEX I used some of the resources (Saunders, Kaplan, and a few other books in the beginning chapters) that gave clues how to break down the questions & figure out what they were asking so that you could "toss" the irrelevant answers and make a better decision. Then used resources such as Maslow's & ABC's (basically what is the priority need and/or what will kill them first/do the most harm if not addressed) which seemed to help.
Take a deep breath and move forward--just like you are already doing. Best wishes.
@ jackdevil, Have you checked out virtual ATI, that is what I used to prepare and it was amazing. It tells you your weaknesses and you only study what you dont know. This is the only method that I used to study and I took nclex yesterday did the pearson vue trick got the good pop up. So we will see.

Once it said "delivered" I checked again and got the pop up that said "this candidate has recently passed the exam and cannot register at this time" In disbelief, I checked it every day for a week, then it changed to "our records show that a registration has already been made for this exam, another registration cannot be made" This is when I went back to not knowing and two weeks later, I received my letter that I had indeed passed.
Stay strong and I hope that your letter will come soon!
