Just submitted application for Riverside Community College Fall 2013

Hi Everyone,

I was wanting to start a cohort for RCC Fall 2013 applicants. I just submitted my application and am studying for the teas V. Anyone else apply or am I the only one crazy enough to be worrying about it already? :geek:

Anyone got an email to take the teas test at Rcc yet?

I thought it was a letter?

Congrats! I got an email also but it wasnt an invitation to take the teas..it was an email letting me know i wasnt invited to take the teas because my gpa wasnt high enough so i need to take it somewhere else and submit the scores by may 17th...its ok though i still have hope...good luck everyone! and congrats to those who got an invite

Omg I haven't received anything. I got a receipt for application, but that was it. So worried, I'm calling Monday.

...is it bad that I didn't get an invite? I already took mine and they should have my score. Should I not be getting any kind of emal from them until my acceptance or rejection letter? This waiting sure does stink lol. Maybe I should call Monday... Ugh I'm going crazy lol I just want to knowwww

I think we're worrying to much, I think they haven't finished sending out emails. But I'm still calling Monday just in case.

Have you scheduled your TEAS elsewhere yet? I talked with Jackie, one of RCC's nursing coordinators, a few months back and she told me that Loma Linda gives out the test every week. I think she said it's $50 to take the test and I'm unsure if there's a fee to send it to RCC. Good luck to you!

I just called and they said they were done sending emails but some were undeliverable like mine. I got invited though. Yay. You should call maybe yours was undeliverable too. Oh & for those of you who didn't get invited, you might still get invited b/c they said some people have already taken it. So they're giving them a week.

Just a reminder for those who were invited and planning to take the TEAS on May 10th to turn in their invitation form by the 29th! I also stopped by the office on April 24th and neither the 8am nor the 1pm slots were filled so there is still time to get your preferred slot.

Anyone know when we are supposed to find out if we are in? The end of June feels so far away! I'm hoping they tell us sooner, before the suspense kills me. How did everyone do on the TEAS? I got an 85%. I was shooting for a 90, but oh well. Just glad it's over.

I know people that took teas somewhere else still have till May 17th to turn in results. I'm taking my teas tomorrow morning. Stressing over that, then to wait till June to know if we're in, is nerve wrecking.
