Just can't seem to pass

Help! I graduated in May and have taken my NCLEX twice. I have not passed the test yet. I am so depressed and can not figure out why I can't pass. If I am in another setting I can answer the questions and get all of them right. I know my stuff. But when I get in the test taking setting I just freeze or something.

All of the people I work with just keep saying "You're the best nurse, you just need to pass the test" They keep telling me that the test dosen't mean that I'm not a great nurse.

I've used EXAMCRAM by Pearson, Sylvia Rayfield and Mintora Williams and etc, etc.

Somebody has to have the right answer for me.

Desperate to pass.:crying2:

Consider Suzanne's Plan. You are not alone. The clinical nurse specialist where I worked failed twice too and passed on 3rd attempt. She provided excellent bedside nursing care to her patients while she continued her education. Listen to your co-workers. You are capable of doing this and will no doubt be a wonderful nurse. :heartbeat Remember, it is not how many times you fail that counts, it is how many times you pick yourself back up. Good luck and best wishes. {{{ HUGS }}} You can do this.

Oh yes..........WELCOME!!!!!!

since you're on the floor, i think you're not able to separate the hospital setting or experiences you're doing right now to the nclex hospital, as all would like to call it. our real hospital setting is entirely different to the "perfect world" of the nclex hospital.

you may want to evaluate you're stand on this...good luck next time. never give up! keep the faith. god bless you!!!

Hey balletdancer, If you haven't passed maybe you should reevaluate how you prepare. Change your strategy and study guide because obviously it's just not working out for you. I took the test and failed twice then I moved to Suzanne's Plan and passed on my third attempt. Take this chance to do something different and study like you've never taken the test before. Start out fresh and try again. Goodluck to you. Please do consider Suzanne's Plan.
