mochasouter 191 Posts Apr 10, 2013 Health and safety is easy...you can do that in 2 weeks for way cheaper. It's like fundamentals.

Heavenly4505 106 Posts Apr 11, 2013 So how does this work? I know you have to enroll in the college to register for the classes. Just wondering if you have to take more than one at a time to be considered eligible for financial aid? or does the aid cover it even if you only sign up for one? I'm taking my A&P exam next week and then going to knock Micro out. Plan to enroll immediately after Micro so that I can sign up for the Transitions class starting July 3rd.
carlas216 26 Posts Apr 11, 2013 have to be at part-time status. At least 6 credit hours within a 16 week term. That can consists 2 eight week courses back 2 back within a 16 week term
mochasouter 191 Posts Apr 12, 2013 Heavenly... I'm working on micro right now. I'm doing a&p next. How is it?
Heavenly4505 106 Posts Apr 13, 2013 Hi mochasouter. The A & P is an overwhelming wealth of information. It can be a little difficult to know exactly how to approach the material. I use the study guide that Excelsior provides as a tool to guide my study. I am mostly just using Study Guide 101 and a few online practice quizzes (including the Excelsior practice test for A & P). I did not buy the textbook because I have actually had an A & P course at the community college. Unfortunately, it was older than 5 years so Excelsior won't accept it. Same with Micro. Oh well, just gotta get these 2 tests out of the way then I can enroll and start the online courses! Good luck to you!
