I was thinking about Univ. of Iowa but received information on the hospital and found out they only get paid once a month.. There is no way I'm going to let Uncle Sam take half of my check. Other option is Iowa VA hospital.. I have yet to get information on it though, so who knows... I looking for some hospital in IA/IL that will help pay some of my student loans I took out...

So if you know of any let me know..

Specializes in Specializes in L/D, newborn, GYN, LTC, Dialysis.

I no longer live in Illinois, but I grew up in Jefferson Park and later, Des Plaines. Graduated Maine West High School. Both sisters were born at Lutheran General............and all my family call the NW Suburbs home (DP/Palatine/Arlington Heights/Barrington). SOMEtimes I miss Chicago......but living near Seattle is HEAVEN to me. Good to see some folks from "home". Always a Cubs, Sox, and Bears fan, always!!!!!
